Customer Reviews 10 Customer Reviews Average 4.8 out of 5 Patrick F The picture doesn't do the SS Circuit Judge justice. Beautiful in person! I love it! I had a great buying experience. Thank You Bud's! 6 months ago Micah F Wasn't sure what to expect with the Circuit Judge given the truly mixed bag of reviews all over the web. But it was an interesting enough rifle that for the relatively low price, I thought I'd risk it. Shipping was fast. Ordered it on a Saturday morning and it arrived @ my gun range that Wednesday. Cleaned it thoroughly (Rossi obviously doesn't clean the darn things after test firing) and took it to the range with a mix of hornady lever action, HPR Hyperclean, PDX1 and #9 bird shot (don't forget to change the choke between 45LC and 410 shells!). It ran like a champ. I was so relived. Not a single problem. Shot 3 inch groups @ 30 yards freehand, no bench rest needed. The 410 shells stuck pretty tight in the cylinder after firing, but a firm rap on the ejection rod pushed them out just far enough to pry them out with a finger nail. Recoil from standard, non +p rounds was surprisingly mild. The owners manual is adamant you not use +p stuff so I wouldn't risk it. The Hyperclean ammo was as advertised-very clean, virtually no grit blow back in your face and adequately accurate. So I'd recommend it. The Hornady Leverution was more accurate, but dirtier. The 410 shells had more recoil, but we're accurate enough for home defense and pretty dirty. Save those for last before leave in case you can't pry them out in the field. Better yet, take a short cleaning rod with you to poke them out so you don't risk breaking your ejector. On the whole, I really like this rifle. It's light, seemingly reliable, accurate enough and a lot of fun. 7 months ago Show More Reviews...
