Nice gun. But just not for me. Went bang every time and never had a misfire. Grip for me was just too short

I was skeptical about this little slim 9 when I bought it, but for me it turned out to be a great little ccw option. Mine is accurate enough, small enough for carry in cargo shorts or pants in a pocket holster, always been reliable and despite my misgivings about the lock, I've found it extremely handy when I needed some way to secure it without a lockbox or other secure container. I ended up adding a Shield to my tiny 9 lineup when shield prices dropped, but I kept my pt709, it has always been a solid performer.

It’s a good small gun. Good service. When I ordered the gun I received it in about 26 hours.

Was very surprised at how smooth this thing function and accurate it was. Very different kind of trigger but very easy to get used to.

A:Well it is not an equal match. One is centerfire and the other is a rimfire 22lr. For personal defense the 9mm is better. For inexpensive fun and pest control the 22lr is awesome.See 4 more answers | -

A:Even if your Taurus firearm is rated for Plus-P (“+P”) ammunition, suchSee 4 more answers |
ammunition generates pressures significantly in excess of the pressures
associated with standard ammunition.Such pressures may affect the useful life
of the firearm or exceed the margin of safety built into many firearms.Unless you
need +P ammunition, do not use it, particularly for practice.---Never use “Plus -P -Plus” (+P+) rated ammunition in any Taurus firearm.
The Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute (SAAMI) does not
recognize such ratings and such ammunition can be very dangerous. Firing
such ammunition can cause catastrophic failure in firearms resulting in serious

A:You don't need a permit in order to pick up a weapon from an FFL. Depending the FFL you use. Depends on the transfer fee you will pay before you walk out of the FFL with your weapon. Just make sure you have a valid DL and that the address is correct on your DL. You will have to fill out paperwork for a backgriund2 check and you don't want anything to cause an issue for you not being able to take your weapon home that day.See 5 more answers | - Show More Questions
