Was really wanting to get a kel tek pf9 but couldnt find one so went with the 709 slim and I am very pleased with it. shoots accurate. I've put almost 200 rounds through it and haven't have a ftf or fte yet perfect concealed carry gun.

Purchased the 709 for my wife as replacement for her current carry gun. Was looking at this one and the LC9, but due firearmagedon, was not able to locate any LC9's so my choice was easy. Never the less, this gun is great and shoots very well. Pro': easily concealable, good even trigger pull, feeds anything we put in it ( HP, FMJ, self defense), great price. Con's: Holsters and accessories are harder to come by than for the LC9. My wife is very pleased with this gun as well and is able to handle it very well. Would recommend.

This was my first gun purchase and I honestly didn't know what to look for. It is an excellent CCW but that's about it. It fits comfortably in the inside waistband holster I carry in front. The safety functions are excellent for anyone worried about the kids. It has a trigger safety, the taurus internal safety and a safety switch for safe storage when not carrying.

The bad- the trigger pull is not smooth, as smooth as I try to make it when in double action it "skips" the whole pull. That's not too bad considering every shot is single action unless the weapon misfires. The sights are adjustable plastic sights which feel kind of cheap when adjusting them and mine are a little lopsided. Also there's a decent gap between the frame and slide.

None of these though effect the purpose of the weapon. If you conceal carry then they won't matter considering in a confrontation your going to just point and shoot. They're just a little bothersome at the range if your a perfectionist and for the value it's very effective.

Overall it gets the job it's intended for done. And for a great value. If your a perfectionist and have the extra cash I would suggest upgrading.

First off, Buds is a top notch seller! Great service, great prices. I picked this gun up on Friday but didn't get to shoot it til Sunday. Like the others said, it was very greasy so I stripped it, cleaned it, and oiled it first. I only got to put about 50 rounds thru it. The only problem I had was the last round in the very first mag failed to load. It didn't jam, it just didn't release from the mag. This was the only issue with the gun. It is a very sweet weapon. Small, slim, compact, and perfect fro a ccdw. I considered the pt11, bu this one was slimmer and shorter. As others have stated, it shoots a little low and to the left. I am not convinced it is the gun, as I have never shot this small of an auto. It did take a little getting use to as it is so compact. I would definitely recommend this gun to a friend.
