This an outstanding little gun. Shoots great, handles well, no failures of any kind. I put about 300 rounds through it the day I got it. What I don't like is the magazine release and the way you have to reload it. The magazine release is on the bottom. Every other gun I have has it on the side where you can use your thumb, and the magazine falls free when you press it. With this thing, when you release, you have to pull the magazine out because it is held by the release button spring. When you load the new mag, you have to kind of angle it in there and then rock it back against the spring and shove it in. It's much slower than reloading some like a 1911 for example. Not good for concealed carry where you might encounter the need for speed should you find yourself in a situation. This is the reason for only 3 stars, otherwise it would be 5.

Just got back from the range and it was as EXPECTED!!! 2" groups at 12 yards, perfect weight., grips were a big+. Came with 2 magazines, and the hogue grips....LOVE IT. 120 rounds out of the box with zero failures to cycle. This is the Mercedes of 380's. A+++++++

I have wanted to own a small .380 since I sold my beloved Colt Mustang .380 during a moment of weakness... If I never had to take this gun apart and clean it, I would have kept it forever. However, I'm anal when it comes to keeping my firearm clean. Perhaps my XD or Colt Mustang spoiled me. They were so easy to take down and clean. With this firearm it was almost work. Getting the slide off, there was a small part that came off the reciever (for lack of a better word) that had to be set back on before putting the slide back on... the slide would then hold it in place. Getting the slide back on without this part being in the way or falling off was always difficult for me. I feel it could of been designed so this wasn't such a pain in the butt. As far as how the gun functioned otherwise, It was a sweeeeet little gun. It felt good in my hands. It was accurate and it was dependable (once you got it back together after cleaning). I'd rather have my old Colt Mustang 380 though.

I have wanted to own a .380ACP for a long time. I have bought another 380 and I looked at a PPK Walther. I thought that the PPK was the way to go until I looked at this P232.After holding the P232 and shooting ,there is no comparison. I recommend this Sig over the PPK, even if you have to pay some more for it!
