Beautiful in every way, runs like butter, a classic imo. Someday they'll discontinue this 81 series, mine will still be mint when they do.

This gun was purchased with hopes to attain a reliable high capacity 32- a firearm that’s easy to control and shoot accurately. It is that. However, although capacity/functionality fit my wants/needs- the finish iis very low quality... this is not a blued finish but an inferior imitation. Think of a very thin cheap spray painted coating where slight wear results in bright silver scratches that contrast with the black and show very clearly. It’s a tool, it does it’s job, but truthfully I was disappointed because for $700... the gun looks cheap. This is def not a bygone era heirloom piece. I would not buy it again knowing what I know now. Buyer beware!

If you are looking for a handgun in 32 acp bigger than a pocket pistol your options are pretty limited in new production firearms. Fortunately this Beretta (although availability can be troublesome) is a good quality pistol. This is mostly for use by my wife as it is a very soft recoiling firearm. It's been 100% reliable so far in a few hundred rounds of shooting. The magazine is well designed and you'd have to really try to load a magazine in a fashion to induce rim lock with the semi-rimmed cartridge. It is fairly pricey for a 32, but scarcity and the limited options dictate the price tag. Over all we've been please and would not hesitate to recommend this pistol.

Put the Cheetah 32 on layaway which was very easy and nice.Once paid off it was at my FFL in 3 days. The Cheetah shoot very accurately, has little recoil and is a very good carry pistol. I have shot the Fiocchi with no problems. Typical Beretta quality and I highly recommend this pistol.

Bud's shipped the Beretta 81 promptly and I picked the weapon up at the FFL about three days after shipment. The 32 acp Beretta 81 is sometimes difficult to find as it is considered a "discontinued" model by Beretta. The gun itself is very finely made. The initial operation was very tight, but loosens up after 100+ rounds. It is quite accurate at self-defense distances. It works best with FMJ, but cartridges with bullets that are not too truncated work fine. The recoil is very light and the weapon is easy to clean, and easy to conceal. I do not consider myself under-armed with this weapon. Thanks to Bud's once again for their help.

A:Caleb, yes Sir. Just hold the hammer back with your thumb, pull the trigger then slowly ride the hammer down then release the trigger. Same action as decocking a revolver.See 2 more answers | -
