Used Interarms Surplus Israeli JO Kareen 9mm Silver Finish Hi-Power Clone Good

First off, kudos to Bud's for their customer service. I received this gun as a replacement for the first one I received which came with an inoperative safety. This gun 'looks' much nicer than the first one. The exterior of the gun has a fairly intact chrome finish. It does show some discernible holster or other container wear on the slide front. That's all the positives. The negative is the rust. The barrel was completely rusted on the interior as well as the crown and the exterior barrel end. The remainder of the barrel exterior has pitting and spotted rust including the feed ramp. The barrel sleeve at the end of the slide is also completely rusted on the inside. Finally there is spotted rust on the slide interior around the ejection port and a few other places. I'm not an expert on NRA grading so I looked it up, good means: In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning. Having gone through two of these now, the grader gets an unsatisfactory from me. Regardless, I have project gun that looks pretty nice on the outside. I haven't shot it yet, I'm still cleaning the barrel to expose the rifling. I would not recommend buying any grade of these Israeli Hi-Power clones.
