CAA RONI CARBINE KIT FOR GLOCK 17 W/ 16 BBL

Waited for this to come back into stock, as soon as I got the email I bought it. It makes shooting the Glock feel like a rifle. At the range every shooter was wondering what I was firing. Had a problem with jamming, but I think it was just the ammo I was using. Got to try Federal, all in all, it’s a great attachment to have and put on your Glock

I was disappointed in the quality of the piece after waiting for months for the item to be available when it arrived the craftsmanship was ok the plastic slide pull attachment used to create a charging handle was the biggest let down using 114 grain fmj brass range ammo which i use in all my 9mm for practice with out incident and the friction of the plastic on plastic of the body and the charging handle caused a failure to eject after almost every round trapping the shell in the slide and jamming the gun the gunsmith at the range said to try 124 grain or heavier and to put some grease where the plastic was rubbing for the price of this kit it should have come with better instructions as well as made of better materials the majority of the casing of the kit is plastic there are defiantly parts that would have functioned better if they were aluminum or metal Overall I am unhappy with the products performance and quality for what I paid for it i am going to try the gunsmith suggestions and see if they improve the performance of the gun I will also be contacting the manufacturer CAA and see what they suggest It would be a really fun and asthetically pleasing piece had it functioned smoother and not caused so much frustration

Bough the Roni with the 16" barrel for my Glock 17. So easy to assemble even the 1st time. I love this conversion. It is so fun to shoot too. Very satisfied with this purchase. I've run couple hundred rounds through it and runs like a Glock should. This was my 1st purchase from Buds and must say it was pretty smooth and without hiccups. I like there large selection of popular guns and there competitive prices. Im sure I will buy from them in future.
