Built on a forged frame and slide the Mil-Spec carries on Springfield Armory's long legacy of quality 1911s. Traditionally styled and built on a full-size frame the Mil-Spec features a match grade barrel and rear slant serrations on the slide. The mainspring housing is the original arched style found on G.I.-issue 1911-A1s, giving you a classic look with modern upgrades for improved performance and reliability. The 1911 Mil-Spec sports an arched mainspring housing just like the 1911-A1s have had for all these years. It also features Military-style trigger and Crossed Cannon Cocobolo grips.

A:There's no difference both have the same magazine count 7+1 On alot of firearms there are 15 round mags. Ca would have a 10 round mag if that was the case.See 2 more answers | -

A:Jose 1911s are single action semi autos which means that it has to be cocked to fire after the 1st shot the hammer stays back in the cocked position for Concealed carry 1911s are carried with the hammer back and the thumb safety engaged so to fire you take off the safety and pull the trigger. the term Pistol normally refers to semi autos and revolver refer to wheel guns (cylinders)See 7 more answers |
