Used S&W Police Model 10 38sp Round Butt - Blue/Black, 4" Barrel, 6 Rounds

Better than advertised, and makes one hell of a bedside or car gun, can shoot P forever. This is the exact configuration I was issued as a pilot in SE Asia-as part of a Gubbimint all expense paid tour of the area with great scenery-which scenery could kill you, hence the model 10. Bought it for sentimental reasons. Got good value and great service.

Everyone loves this gun. Easy to fire, very little kickback. Beautiful piece of American engineering.

a classic, it came a little rough, but after replacing the springs, replacing the grips, a some Cerakote. it looks amazing.

Very happy with my purchase of this classic police sidearm. Smith & Wesson quality is very impressive. Some holster wear evident which should be expected. Any good collection should have one. I removed the Hogue rubber grips that came on it and installed the classic wood grips, which those with small to medium size hands might like better.

When you get a K frame Smith in this condition for the price that I paid for it makes me smile. It has some holster wear, lockup is tight and accuracy is excellent. If they ever get any Colt Python trade ins, I will be more than happy to buy more than I need...…. Uh Huh......You gotta have a dream

I think this revolver had a trigger-job done at some point because it is smoooottthhh. Mine came with significant wear, but trigger-pull is (and hence accuracy) is so nice, that I didn't mind. The wear wasn't bad; it's the kind of wear that gives a used fire-arm character. Glad I bought it!

The price on these S&W Model 10s, was at the time, too good to pass up. So, I bought 3, one for me and 2 more to use in my training classes. I expected these used guns to be somewhat beat up and not necessarily accurate, but for the close quarters combat training that I do in my CCW classes, I figured that they would be good enough and newbies couldn't abuse them too badly. Much to my surprise, all three were in decent shape and aesthetically pleasing. The real surprise came when I took them to my favorite shooting spot. All three of these Model 10s, were still very accurate. At 50 yards, I was able to break an orange clay pigeon on the first shot. Having found out the above information, I'm a bit more selective on who I allow to shoot these venerable old guns.

Timing was still great with this little gun. I just bought it out of nostalgia Buds was outstanding, as usual
