The trigger on this gun is pathetic. If you try to pull it with your finger near the top of it, the trigger safety will not let that happen. In addition it's super hard to pull. I ordered an aftermarket trigger to replace the unsafe and undependable trigger from Ruger. I won't change the trigger springs, after all it's just a belly gun. I took it to the range, fired 170 rounds, one FTF which could have been my fault, aside from that function was fine and the pistol is accurate for it's size. The sights are nice and overall the pistol is better than the first incarnation of it. Ruger is a marginal manufacturer in any case, that's my opinion.

It's a great little pistol for concealed carry. Extremely comfortable and easy to carry. Shoots well for its size. Improved trigger over the standard LCP Max.

I guess this is the quality we can expect these days...or lack there of. As lots of others have noted. There is NO way I could put the 10th round into the magazine.I can't be sure, but is the frame where the slide rides in really completely plastic? or is there metal inserts covered with plastic? Other brands, such as Glock, you can clearly see metal inserts. I noticed Ruger quality has been steadily going downhill for a long time. I used to be a tried and true fan of Sturm Ruger. I am not anymore. I will stick to the European brands. But Buds Gun Shop has been Great! I really love the selection. I think Buds really does have the Best selection to choose from. The prices are Very competitive.

I think this is a good gun. it looks well made. Finishes are clean and consistent. Slide racks smoothly and easily. The magazine pops out strongly but not too strongly. Close to 60 rounds through it. No, zero, foul ups. it’s small and I have fairly large hands, but the little grip feels just fine. The top of the trigger will bite a bit when firing but I’ve adjusted. Works fine. It’s almost my smallest firearm. I have an old AMT 22 auto; it’s smaller. It’s a good gun too. These are guns when you want one but don’t want to feel it in carry. For me they serve that purpose, frequently. I recommend it.

Excellent pistol. Great Ruger quality for the price. Nice feel and solid. Perfect for concealment when wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Love this gun. The best pocket pistol EVER. Great handling, love the sights and the new trigger also the extra rounds compared to the LCP 1 and 2. Stainless steel is the way to carry a ruger as the regular finish tends to bee poor. As always, Bud's service exceeds expectations. Arrived on 3 days!

This is my second LCP 380 Max. Both of them are fine shooters. Picked up the anniversary edition because of the price. Can't go wrong having these.

The pistol looks nice but has a noticeable rattle in the slide and some wear on the chamber hood.

Nice gun for the money. Only complaints are the slide rattles a bit, shoots a little low compared to my glocks, and wish the rear sights were night sights like the fronts. Not a deal breaker and overall for under $300 it's a great pocket pistol.

My first range trip, I had some issues getting it to go into battery. This is a pretty common issue within the first several hundred rounds from what I have read online. I took it home to clean and lube. Next range trip it ran flawlessly. This is a good buy. Nice easy recoiling pocket pistol at a great price. The pocket holster is not great. Invest in a better one if you plan on carrying this.
