  Larry, yes, the receiver has an 11mm "Dove Tail" Groove for Scope Rings and scope mounting.

• Q: I have seen rapid mag fillers for tube fed weapons but they never seem to catch on.
  Does anyone have experience with them and what is your opinion ?

  they did not work very well. in hunting they were hard to carry and you still had to load the mag fillers the same way you loaded the mag (one at a time)

  yes it is with a few minor changes. it no longer has the engraved/etched stock.

  Eric, capacity is 14 in the tubular magazine plus 1 in the chamber.

  Unfortunately all Semi Auto Rifles are prohibited in Cook County. You can purchase about any type 22LR provided it only holds 10 rounds and is NOT Semi-Auto, which this is. Here is where Bud's tells you that: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/illinois_restrictions.pdf

• Q: Do I need to license dealer number to purchase a rifle like you need to purchase a hand gun?

  If you live in a contiguous state meaning a state the touches Kentucky, in most cases you can pick the rifle up in person. If you live in a non-contiguous state you must have it shipped to a FFL in your state. After it is received at your FFL of choice your home state laws and all applicable federal laws apply such as NICS check and all paperwork required by law. The receiving FFL will likely require a fee for the transfer. Buds FFL finder is a great tool it searches and finds dealers near you based on your zip code and in many cases posts last reported transfer fee cost. They have a list of preferred FFL's also that will accept any transfer from Buds. It takes the hassle out of finding and FFL on your own.
