Could not wait to get my Kimber from Buds. It is a great gun...beautiful to look at and shoots straight. Love showing it off.

Hello, Finally, I was able to go to the range and get my new Kimber. I am very happy with BudsGunShop.com, at the exception of a missing magazine. Now I didn’t open the suitcase in the first place therefore I cannot put any blame on anyone. Still I am a little disappointed to have paid a good price for the gun and got only one magazine. Fantastic firearm. Wanted to wait to get some rounds ran through it before reviewing. I could receive the gun, say it's pretty and that I will be going to the range soon, but wouldn't be helpful. First off it is a good looking firearm and is very comfortable. I've seen a lot of unflattering Kimber reviews and was prepared for a tough break-in. My initial impression was that it was put together pretty tight and had to use the barrel bushing tool for disassembly. I've put 300 rnds of various brands in FMJ and JHP with ZERO malfunctions. I used Kimber, Colt, Wilson, Ruger, Megar, and even some no name brand I got on ebay with no problem. This one will be getting used a lot. I really like that it's a series 70 and has the night sights, has been smoothed for carry, and other amenities. The light weight is nice for carry and doesn't hurt shoot-ability in my opinion.The thing is accurate and just plain works. It's expensive, but when you look at the workmanship, you get a lot for your money.

My second Kimber and a great gun so far after 200 rounds. A truly beautiful and functional firearm. Also, it is much easier to disassemble and reassemble compared to the 3" models. Only concern seen so far was manufacturer magazine failure to feeds in the first 16 rounds put through. Strangest I've ever seen in fact-the last round in mag actually ejected unfired rather than chamber it. This didn't repeat after the first two mags. I have some new custom mags anyway so not going to use that mag anyway. Bud's service was great too, and the price was better than anywhere else. Very much appreciate that the person I spoke to on the phone was a US veteran. Will defintely do business with them again.
