Super Revolver & Service from Buds!

I Love this gun. The picture doesn't come close to how good it really looks. I have shot all types of factory loads with no problem and the accuracy is good . The kick is no more than any 44 mag I have ever shot. I love to shot it with Win. 210 Sliver Tips, the perfect load for this gun, very little kick, but very deadly. I carry this at my ranch loaded with both CCI shot shells and Silver tips. Great for any unfavorable guest I run into like snakes, coyotes, hogs or maybe even zombies. This is the perfect carry size for wearing on your hip all day without getting to heavy or in your way. If you love 44's and want one that you can actually carry all time, this is it. The black non glare finish is also a plus and not only does it look awesome, it has held up very well.

Bought One from Bud's. Great service. Problems with my Bounty Hunter on it's arrival though."Locked Up" and wouldn't unlock. Although Bud's was willing to replace it, I sent it in to S&W and they had it back in my hands in 8 days. Great work and no charge. Took it out and, WOW !! Like the old Paul Newman and Robert Redford movie "THE SUNDANCE KID" jumping off the cliff into the river--"don't worry about land'in in the water. It's the fall that will kill you". Don't worry if you hit what your aiming at from your Bounty Hunter. It's the "report" that will kill them.... "WHEN YOU THINK THEY ARE, THEY ARE." "If you think it looks bad, it is". Nice version of the Smith.44, crappy grips but put Hogues on it and cured that. Gun shoots well and is very controllable even with hotter loads. I would very much like to tell S&W what to do with the key/lock system but I guess we're stuck with that. AND.. am I the only one that thinks S&W's laser engraving looks chintzy??? Of course Bud's was fast and efficient, that almost goes without saying.

I bought one of these from Buds a couple of months ago. I love the gun, but hate the grips that came with the gun. I put some Houge monogrips on it and they seem to work better for me. The pistol shoots great even with 300 grain hunting loads. Speaking of hunting, I killed a huge doe with this pistol on opening day of modern gun season. She went down right where she stood. As usual the buying experience was great at Buds. I would reccommend this pistol to anyone who is looking for a good revolver that they can use for both self defense and hunting. It is a little on the heavy side to carry concealed all day. I was told by a wise man one time that a gun is supposed to be comforting not comfortable. And with this pistol it is very comforting to feel that heavy 44 magnum on my hip all day.

Usual great service from Bud's. Like the other remark about quality control, this revolver was missing silver medallions from grips. Somebody at S&W should have seen that! Otherwise, very nice revolver.

Its a Smith & Wesson , it is a solid weapon, even with 230grain rounds the frame will handle it, and it also makes you look like a bad ass!

I too have purchased one of these revolvers. I guess its just my luck but Smith's quality control sucks! My gun had the grip screw tightend so much the screw threads were protuding out the other side of the grips a 8th of an inch, so much it would have tore the hide off your hand if you shot it. I had to fix this befor even shooting the thing! The gun shoots very well, even with 230 gr JHPs its not that bad. I purchased some after market fake Ivory grips and this makes the gun look B-A-D !! That Black frame with those white grips makes this gun look like it could kick A@@ and take names! I love this revolver and If you like big bore short barrel hand guns, you would like this one. Also the trigger work that was done to it at the factory more than made up for the over tightend grip screw because it sweet! Buy it befor they are all gone you want regret it!!

Great little gun shoots very well with 44special ammo as well does kick some with full power 44 magnum loads but not as bad as expected afterll it is a 3 inch 44 mag. Overall I love the gun and the service from Buds was exceptional. Would buy from again anytime
