  Scott, yes sir, this is both double and single action. So you can just pull the trigger for a quick double action pull or pull the hammer back for a nice light crisp single action trigger pull. Hope this helps.

• Q: Can you use higher capacity magazines in this firearm?

  Scott, yes as others have stated this will take higher capacity magazines no problem. This just includes a pinned 10 round magazine for states with magazine capacity restrictions. It's the same size as the standard capacity magazine it's just pinned. Hope this helps.

  Joel, the HK45 isn't on the CA roster of handguns so it can't be transferred into the state by non-LEO citizens i.e. Buds' cannot ship it to California.   they are different guns 745001 is a full size 4.5 inch service size gun (10+ 1 capacity) the 74531-a5 is a USP45 small frame compact size gun with a 3,8 inch barrel (8+1)

• Q: The LEA5 one includes a 3rd mag, and says saftey/decocker on left side, isnt that the same as this one? Not understanding the difference.

  Hi Milton, The firearms are exactly the same. Just 1 comes with the extra magazine for Law enforcement.
