Randy I has the correct answer. Initially this looked like the 14 version. You CAN add a stock to this shotgun. Closer inspection of the model I identified my mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

Absolutely not in this case Keagan unless you plan to register it as an SBS "Short Barreled Shotgun" meaning under 18 inches in barrel length. Yes this gun will shoot 2 3/4 inch shells and 3 inch shells as well. It wil not however shoot 3 1/2 inch shells. If your looking for a gun for 3 1/2 inch you will need something different, otherwise this shotgun is great ad will shoot both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. Hope this helps

EXCELLENT shotgun. I purchased it primarily for home defense due to the short 18.5" barrel and added maneuverability of the pistol grip. It's also designated my go-to "bug out" gun of choice as well. Nice small shotgun for the house or truck or whatever. Can be a bit of a handful when shooting high brass mags. All around great shotgun, but I still prefer the 870 controls.
