Rifle was shipped very quickly, while at my FFL removed weapon from case, it was in perfect condition. Very solid built weapon ,my father has an original HK91 & my PTR91 is a little heavier (my PTR has the bull barrel may be why) . I never bought a weapon that had a break in procedure but my PTR does. I put 250 lake city rounds through it already (no issues but I'm using lake city ammo for break in period),& cleaned at recommended intervals. I LOVE it! But I like a heavier rifle, I think this will be my favorite rifle in my collection PTR did it right! Also thanks to Buds for making my purchase go without a hitch will definitely purchase from Buds again.

I haven't fired this rifle yet but the quality and construction is amazing. A VERY nice looking rifle. I sold a NIB DPMS 308 AP4 to buy this and hope I made the right decision. Wish I could have kept both. People talk about the weight but the rifle is well balanced and seems no heavier than DPMS and I am 63 and not getting stronger. Like I said, I haven't fired it yet and the reports I have read say the DPMS is more accurate but I really like everything about it. It also came well packaged and not a scratch anywhere.

I love this rifle. Huge supply of surplus parts, accurate as heck, and very very simple to operate. My brother owns an armalite ar-10, and when he fired my ptr91, he asked if I wanted to trade! The germans got it right when they designed this one. I picked up a collapsible paratrooper stock, which looks cool but for comfort and ergonomics, the stock, er, stock is far better. I was picking off cans at 50 yards 1 after another like they were 5cute feet in front ofne me. Only con it really has is the heft. At 10+ lbs loaded, its on the heavy side, but that's all personal preference to some people anyhow. Great buy for a great gun.

great rifle and super accurate. heavy though but typical for HK style rifles. magazines are super cheap. I paid 55 bucks for 30 mags, all work flawlessly. PTR has done its homework just like the original HK 91 at a fraction of the price.

Great gun although it is on the heavy side. I owned one, sold it, and now looking to buy another one. It is lowed and will take some work to get a scope to mount but is well worth it. Hint if the vent whole are not drilled out as mine were not drill them the barrel gets real hot. Also shot the gun often to break it in it tends to jam out of the box under rapid fire. That’s all I can tell you on this gun to look out for like I said I’m looking to get another one. I paid only 800 for mine when I bought it and at this price cheaper and better than most I've found.
