Description
Product Overview
Hornady TAP AR ELD Match ammunition is designed for reliable operation in AR-10 rifles and other .308 Win semi-automatic platforms. Each 168-grain ELD Match bullet features a heat-resistant Heat Shield polymer tip that maintains its shape during flight, improves ballistic consistency, and supports a high .523 ballistic coefficient. The load uses temperature-stable, flash-retardant propellant, a large rifle primer with a staked primer pocket, and a durable brass case marked 308 WIN TAP.
Key Features
- 168-grain ELD Match polymer-tipped bullet supports match-grade accuracy and consistent terminal performance
- Heat Shield tip resists aerodynamic heating and helps preserve ballistic performance
- .523 ballistic coefficient helps reduce drop and wind drift at extended distances
- AR-10 optimized propellant promotes reliable cycling in compatible semi-automatic rifles
- Staked primer pocket adds primer retention for demanding defensive and training applications
- Brass cases and large rifle primers provide dependable ignition and reloadable-case construction
Choose Hornady TAP AR ELD Match ammunition when your .308 Win AR-10 platform requires a 168-grain match-grade load engineered for reliable function and consistent long-range performance.
