Well built, quality pocket pistol. Trigger is long and heavy but smooth. With such a small grip it definitely is a little snappy. Lots of range time and she has ran flawlessly with various loads and brands. Another great price/purchase from Buds.

I removed my CM9 out of the shipping box after taking delivery this afternoon and my first thought was that it is the perfect size and caliber for my concealed carry needs. A wise man once said; however, "Nothing's easy" and I now agree... As an older gentleman with arthritic fingers, I was somewhat disappointed when I attempted to rack the slide for the first time. According to my better half, I have more firearms than necessary and thus feel qualified to state that this pistol is much more difficult to rack than any of the others in the stable. I saw similar statements in the CM9 reviews, but didn't really expect it to be quite this challenging. I hope to replace the spring with a more suitable substitute and thus keep the CM9 as my go-to CC gun. If not, away she goes...The good news is that I had the CM9 in my hands within three days of my purchase. Thanks again, Bud's. Awesome shipping response, as usual...

Very good quality overall and shoots very well for what might be the smallest 9mm semi on the market. Only holds 6 in the magazine, but this is a pistol that you could carry in your pocket. The only big negative I found was that the plastic front sight broke off of mine after about 50 rds. A metal screw in tritium replacement is only about $50 so if you want a tiny but very easy to shoot 9mm, maybe go ahead and order the replacement front sight ahead of time. Mine was accurate and reliable with multiple types of target and defensive loads. Overall 4 stars because of the cheap front sight.

I chose the Kahr CM9 because I can get custom magazine springs to increase the capacity from 6+1 to 7+1. For its size, capacity, and price, the Kahr CM9 is a better option compared to heavier and bulkier newer micro pistols like the Hellcat and P365. This handgun arrived fast and in pristine condition. I’ve made multiple purchases with Buds, and I have found them to be exceptionally reliable. Kahr’s CM9 is very well made and makes for a perfect inside the waistband carry. Kahr has beveled all the edges to provide for a smooth draw and lots of comfort. For a man with large hands, the pinky finger with be off the handle while you shoot unless you purchase the extended magazine. This is an extremely accurate gun that has not let me down. I was searching for a pocket pistol with a commonly used caliber. When I decided to purchase the Kahr CM9 (CM9093), the experience was great. This is my first online purchase and I'm glad I decided to buy from BudsGunShop.com. The process was awesome. It even has a list of Preferred FFLs in Puerto Rico and that made it very easy to pick the closest one to my home and have it shipped to them. I have not shot the pistol yet because I was waiting for a Hogue Rubber Grip to arrive in the mail. As soon as it arrived, I installed it. I purchased a Hogue HANDALL Beavertail Grip Sleeve #18300 for Kahr Arms P9, P40, CW9, CW40, with finger grooves, on eBay.com. Since the CM9 has a shorter grip, I modified the rubber grip by cutting off a small slice from the bottom, where the brand HOGUE is molded into the rubber. This would assure that there is no interference with magazine insertion and removal. I installed the grip exactly by instructions, heating the rubber in hot water (not boiling), with the help of plastic strips, and Windex, I was able to install them. Now that I have my CM9 with Hogue Rubber Grips, I am very happy and eager to fire my first shots in a range. I am also very happy and interested about the inner workings of the pistol's action. It has very simple internal parts that work very safely. It has a passive striker block that only moves out of the way when the trigger is pulled back and the cocking cam pushes up on the block, to allow the striker to move all the way forward and strike the cartridge primer. If possible, I will update this review as soon as I am able to visit a shooting range and test the Kahr Arms CM9 (CM9093).

This is the perfect concealed carry 9mm, the only problem I have with it is they placed the serial number in a large silver square spot in the center of the grip on the opposite side of the photo in the description. I have ordered some Talon grips for it, and hopefully it will cover this up.
