No, you can only use the 6 round cylinders included. Anything else and the timing will be off and not function.

According to Heritage- No, the 9-round cylinder will not function properly as the design of the cylinder hand and hammer is specific to the 9-round model. It would most likely fit if installed but would not index properly when attempting to use it.

Does this come with both the LR and WMR cylinders, or do you need to purchase the WMR cylinder separately?

Alexis, Yes this single action Army replica comes with 2 six shot cylinders. One for 22 lr and one for 22 mag. Do not have to buy separate cylinder.

It would not work Jared. The "Timing" built into the cylinder rotational mechanism is totally different from the 6rd cylinders' "Timing". The bullet in the cylinder would not line up with the barrel or the hammer and the pistol would not be fire-able.

Hi Rustin, No these sights are not adjustable. You would need to have a gunsmith do this but then it probably wouldn't be 100%, I would call Heritage Arms to see if they can fix this for you at their Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966

I Suggest trading it in and purchasing this Rough Rider 22 Combo 6.5" Blue Fiber Optic Sight 9 Round MFR #: RR22999MB6AS Its out of stock in Buds inventory (wish List) but other stores have it in stock if you do a internet search. If you do not want to do this the only option is to slightly bend the front sight, not the best thing to do but that could correct the shooting to the left ,your local gunsmith could help you do this with damaging the revolver. The height issue is probably operator error.

The sights will have to be re-worked Rustin to correct this Rustin. If your front sight is straight, then fire a series of shots to see what part of your V-notch rear (in relation to your front sight) causes it to fire straight and mark it. This will tell you or a gunsmith where the front sight post will have to be adjusted for straight shooting. Also. Heritage Arms may resolve this for you at their Customer Care Call Center Tel: (305) 685-5966

They have RR22MB6AS (adjustable sites), RR22MB6PRL (pearl handled), RR22MB6BX (beats me what difference is), RR22MB6XHOL (w/holster), and RR22MB6HOL (also w/holster). But no RR22MB6. So what is this gun? How is it different from RR22MB6BX?

In the past, I've emailed the manufacturer and given them the UPC to double-check and it's always worked out in my benefit. Also, I just bought a single action 45, which I am really excited to get. If you pick up the Heritage, I would consider getting Buds lifetime warranty as Heritage only warranties their guns for 1 year...

Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want 'em.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

I have 3 of these and they are remarkable for the price. The triggers are amazing for a gun in this price range. I find the shape of the grip to be rather unrefined. If removed, recontoured, and re-finished, it would improve comfort a lot. Accuracy is limited by nature of the groove and blade sights, but there is now an option to buy some of these with upgraded sights. The guns overall function so well, I will eventually buy them in more variations.

This has been a sweet shooting little pistol. Have only shot a couple of boxes of ammo through it but it works great with both cylinders. The 22 WMR rounds will get your attention compared to the 22 LR. I enjoy shooting it when I have the time.
