No special license needed it is a pistol and subject to federal and your states rules and regulations for handguns

Hi Melvin, no sir because this is a pistol, (not a short barreled rifle), no special license needed. If you added a stock, then it would be a SBR and would require registration and $200 tax stamp. Stay safe & have a great day!
