Hi my Mossberg 940 Doesn't take the 7+1 in the magazine tube but 6+1. Does anyone else have an issue with this.
By the way I still love my 940.

Hi Mark and welcome. Mine takes the full 7 in the tube using Star Crimped 2 3/4-inch shells. Only 6 with Roll Crimped Shells. The roll crimp shells are longer. Some details here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=mzGYDJeemW0

I would pull the mag spring and follower out and inspect the follower and inside of the tube for any Burrs or flaws. if no flaws lube it all back up and reinstall it. then try it again
