I was under the impression the gun came with 3 tubes, but mine didn't. It only had one in the barrel. Was I mistaken and it ships new with only one?

Only a modified.  Uses accu-choke.

only the one modified choke it uses mossberg accuchokes. winchester win chokes or browning invector.
