Adjustable gas blocks are helpful with a suppressor, yes. A suppressor will create significant excess gas pressure, so rather than helping with reliable cycling an adjustable gas block is mostly just for tuning the gas back down to a minimum level needed for cycling to avoid excess wear on parts and hot gas in the face while shooting.
