Hi Grant and welcome. Yes, after removing the factory rear sight, four drilled and tapped holes are exposed for installing the SSR. Cheers and stay safe!

I've just looked at about 8 different sites with this model and Not One mentions removing the rear Semi Buckhorn sight will expose Drilled & Tapped holes?
Personally, I'd contact Rossi to find out the Correct Answer.

Hi Grant, yes sir, round barrel Rossi 92s, 16" & 20", with a "Braztech" roll stamp are drilled and tapped for the P682 base, which unfortunately, is no longer available. If you are looking at a rifle, you must lift up the rear sight to see the drilled, tapped and plugged holes immediately behind the dovetail.
