it can vary so much depending on the ammo that there is no real good answer a super light recoil target load can be so soft that you hardly know it fired all the way to a heavy 3 inch 1 1/4 oz 1400 fps load that will have you checking your fillings you can find a load that will be comfortable for you to shoot

Shotguns are different than cartridge shooters.
