They work the same functionally. The CZ is more ergonomic feeling in my opinion(sleeker) but is 5.3oz's heavier. This will boil down between making the choice between a great polymer and a tried and proven great all metal carry pistol. They both are very good carry options.
functionally the same but the feel of the two guns are very different. They are both very good guns I suggest that you see if a local FFL/Shop has one in stock so you can handle it. the CZ,s are great guns yes it is heavy but with a good belt/holster comb it is a very good carry gun. The extra weight is a advantage when shooting at the range
The main difference between the 2 will be polymer vs metal. Both are excellent firearms.. I love my CZ as they're very accurate. My wife has the PX4 it's nice. I'd go with the CZ.

The CZ 75 Compact comes in 2 configurations. The first one is a selective fire which can be manually decocked and carried to shoot DA the first shot or you can carry it cocked with the safety applied. The other is a de-cocker model and is DA for the first shot with no other way to carry it, just like the Beretta. In a body hugging, form fitting holster they both carry easily. The CZ is an incredibly rugged and accurate pistol. If the Serbs cannot hurt them they cannot be hurt. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/415000534/CZ+75+Compact+Blk+9mm https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/719006242/CZ+75+D+COMPACT+9MM+RAIL+DECOCKER+RAIL+14RD
