Transfer bar.

Hi Rone and welcome. This model has a Transfer Bar Safety. The transfer bar can only be in position to transfer the energy of the hammer to the firing pin if the trigger is fully depressed. Otherwise, without the trigger being pulled, the hammer can in no way contact the firing pin, making it impossible to fire the gun. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Correct, this model does have a transfer bar safety
