I live in the state of commie Washington and I don't know if I can buy this ruger American gen 2 rifle, because of the threaded barrel and the installed brake. Does this make it an assault rifle in in the user of washington?

I did not see anything that says no.  Bolt action rifles are not "assault rifles,"  AR actually stands for Armalite Rifle.  a brand name.

Hi Lester, being a bolt action, this is legal in WA state. The restrictions such as threaded barrel, muzzle device. etc, only apply to semi auto rifles. You can have these features on a bolt action.
