Hi James G and welcome. This model uses the RMSc footprint for direct attachment of RMSc Red Dots. You would need a Doctor/Fastfire plate to mount the Vortex Viper. The included holster will work. Hi James, no sir, the Mete uses the RMSC footprint, while the Viper has the Docter/Noblex footprint. I would look for a RMSc red dot, rather than an adapter plate.
