Hi William and welcome. Yes, the Wildcat is compatible with Ruger 10/22 magazines and their many aftermarket companions. If you want to plink away at the range, the Wildcat readily accepts the larger 25-round magazine from Ruger, Butler Creek and others. These magazines just lack the last-round hold-open capability of the supplied Winchester magazine.

Yes, the Wildcat also uses the Ruger BX magazines.
