Hi Brad and welcome. Trigger pull weight averages ~7lbs. Most other single shot shotguns are around 10lbs or slightly more. Cheers and stay safe!
Hi Brad, the trigger pull weight is approx 7 lbs. I will add this, since it for a 10 yr old, with a plastic butt plate and very low weight, these shotguns recoil a lot more than they look like they should. You may need to add a recoil pad to the butt stock. Stay safe & have a great day!
a hammer type single shot would have the lightest trigger pull however he may have a issue with pulling back the hammer.
