Shawn, once you are at the FFL you will need to fill out form 4473 there. You must be a CO resident to be transferred a handgun from an FFL. All paperwork/background checks are performed by your receiving FFL in CO.

The FFL will have all the paperwork normally only the form 4473 unless your state requires more paperwork which the FFL would also provide
