Buds says you can use both. I did not see anything on the Tikka site that says you can use both.

Hi Justin and welcome. The barrel is stamped .223REM so for safety and warranty reasons, higher pressure 5.56NATO ammunition should not be fired. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
