The description of the IWI GAR1651 GALIL ACE 7.62NATO 16IN says that it takes standard AR magazines, but the picture seems to show an AK-style mag.  Which mag does it actually use?

It takes the AR platform 308 or 7.62x51 style magazines. It also states to be careful to only buy magazines made in the USA due to poor quality of other countries mags.😃

It does take the standard 308 AR mags but not all are created equal! I would go with known brands that you trust!

it accepts standard, inexpensive Magpul LR20 .308 PMAGs. Also excepts Lancer .308 mags.
