If purchased will buds gun shop be able to substitute 15 round mags for 10 round mags only to accommodate a CT state purchaser? ( not 15 and pinned )

Hi Sean and welcome. Unfortunately, Buds only ships without non-compliant magazines if capacity is the only State restriction. This has long been their policy. Hi Sean, Bud's will not swap out magazines. Bud's will only remove non-compliant magazines, the gun will be shipped with zero mags.  You would then need to obtain your own state complaint magazines. Sorry, but this is Bud's policy.

Buds does not swap magazines - been down this road before / and the policy is not exclusive to Bud's many dealers do the same. You can however purchase from Bud's and buy your own State compliant magazines. Living in NY this is a common problem they causes headaches to legit permitted gun owners. Hope this helps - good luck
