Ok so I move to South Dakota from Illinois but have yet to change my license can I still buy guns from buds and have them shipped to an FFL in South Dakota and be able to pickup with no problem ?

Hi Titus and welcome. Only long guns can be purchased across State lines by non-residents. Handguns can only be purchased and transferred in your registered State of residence. Cheers and stay safe!

Hi Titus, no sir, your DL must match your current address. Just change your DL and you are good to go.

go to order status/my account (top of page).  select your addresses. enter current address and delete old address. buds will then have you listed as living in SD. and ship to a selected FFL in SD. there you will need your new drivers license to complete firearm purchases/transfers
