That's news to me as This is my go to brand round to use with my Advantage Arms. 22lr conversion for my Glock 19. I find it to shoot fairly clean with none of the heavy smoke cloud you mention. Maybe bad batch?
Hi Joseph and welcome. These use a different powder than the CCI Stingers which are smokier rounds. Stingers and Mini-Mags use the same cleaner burning powder. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Hi Joseph, I have used these numerous times and have never has any smoke like you describe. Mini-Mag rounds use clean-burning propellants. CCI has high manufacturing standards, ensuring a consistent, reliable ignition. I would guess maybe you got a bad batch? Not likely, but possible. . The answer below makes no sense - "These use a different powder than the CCI Stingers" and "Stingers and Mini-Mags use the same cleaner burning powder." How can they use a different powder if they use the same powder?
