It says trigger is approximately 7lb but I have seen tests reading around half of that (I could be confusing the manufacturer). Is this a typo?

Hi Dennis, yes sir, that is correct. I did see one review that said it broke at about 6 lbs.

Hi Dennis and welcome. The range of trigger pulls I have seen of recent models has been around 5lbs. Older models used to be 7 to 8lbs average. Cheers and stay safe!
