It is not legal as it is similar to the Mossberg Shockwave, which is also illegal in California.
Hi Gabriel and welcome to the forum. I would contact your local FFL Dealer for the latest firearms laws since similar shotguns are CA Legal. https://wbtguns.com/shotguns/mossberg-590s-shockwave-california-legal-12ga/
This Citadel model is Not but, the Mossberg 590 model below is. https://wbtguns.com/shotguns/mossberg-590-shockwave-18-5-california-legal-12ga/
Hi Gabriel, sorry this is not CA compliant. "Pistol-grip firearms expelling a shotgun shell that are 26" or longer in overall length, but with smooth-bore barrels shorter than 18" in length are not being transferred by California FFLs. Regardless whether pump-action or semi-automatic, this category includes the Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, Emperor Arms Duke / Mogul series, Charles Daly Honcho, RIA VRF14 and the like." . Scroll down to 'Other Restrictions' budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf , . The gun in the links below has a 18.5" barrel, which is a completely different classification of gun.
