What is the best target and home defense ammo for this gun? I tried shooting 2 3/4 inch but it didn't cycle correctly. However it does say 3inch on the gun but I've heard some shoot different sizes.

Hi Tim, this will shoot both 2.75" and 3" shells. You may need to use high velocity shells (1300 fps) to cycle properly, at least until broken in.
