What budget red dot sight would you recommend for this Taurus 856 .38 spl. with a 3" barrel? Is the footprint the RMS or RMSc or another one completely? Thanks!

That's right, thanks to our T.O.R.O. system, the 856 is now ready to accept compact red dot sights that fit the Holosun K-footprint.

Hi John and welcome. The Taurus 856/605 TORO uses a Taurus Optic Plate, which is a custom made modified RMSc footprint plate. This plate will accept the Holosun 507K, 407K, and EPS Carry.
