Hi Jamison and welcome. It has full sized grips (I've always known Gov size to be full sized grips). Government and Commander compared to Officers Compact size. The C = Compensated. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Jamison, Girsan calls this the Commander model, so it will take full size, or government grips. The C does not stand for Compensated, it stands for Carry (Carry is stamped on the slide) as seen here >>> https://www.shootingillustrated.com/content/review-girsan-mc1911-c-10mm/ Not all MC1911 C models have the compensator.
