Hi Andrew, No there isn't a side rail on the Importer Classic Firearm. SPECS - Sometimes it's best to start with the basics and the I.O. Inc. AKM247 is the answer. This rifle was built on original Polish blueprints and is an entry level, built to its heritage, no nonsense Ak rifle. The rifle is chambered in the very popular 7.62x39 cartridge. I.O. Inc firearms are all proudly made on new machinery and feature a nitrated barrel and U.S. made plastic furniture. The rifle accepts all standard Ak and RPK magazines. -- Mil-spec receiver -- 1:10 RH Twist -- Black polymer furniture -- Tactical pistol grip -- Tactical sling swivel -- Adjustable front & rear sight -- Overall Length: 36" -- Barrel Length: 16.25" -- Weight: 7lbs -- Military finish (Manganese phosphate / Parkerized) -- Bayonet Lug
