Colt doesn't provide us specific details about where/how they are blemished. You can provide Colt your serial number (once you receive the firearm) and they can give you additional details. These are covered under our Lifetime Gun Warranty. Blemish would be cosmetic only and not affect function in any way. Cheers and stay safe!
