I am considering buying this youth rifle but I noticed that, on the Henry website, it mentions a recall of this rifle and other rifles in the HO15 category for a problem concerning accidental discharge. Can anyone tell me if the warning and recall is still active or if the problem has been corrected and the present day HO15 rifles are now safe to fire? Thank you!

Hi Mark and welcome. Since the members here are customers as well, one would need a Serial Number to determine with Henry if the rifle is affected. In any event, Henry would take care of the issue quickly as evidenced by reviews from other retailers. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Mark, unfortunately there is no was of knowing without having the serial number. We are customers like yourself and do not have access to firearms. 
The problem has been corrected on current production (since 2020) but there is no way for us to know the year of production.
