No. the 10mm Pistols can fire the shorter 40S&W ammo but not the reverse since a 100mm will not seat in a 40S&W barrel. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
No you should not fire 40 S&W ammo in a 10 MM barrel as it headspaces on the rim of the cartridge. yes you can install a 40 S&W barrel in a 10MM gun
Hey Raymond, Unfortunately, No, you cannot simply swap 10mm ammo for .40 S&W in the Glock G22 (or vice versa), even though they may appear similar at first glance. The .40 S&W and 10mm Auto do share a similar bullet diameter but the case length and overall cartridge length are different. The .40 S&W is shorter (0.850 inches) compared to the 10mm Auto (1.250 inches). This difference in length can lead to issues with chambering and cycling the ammunition.
