Semi-automatic shotguns: Semi-automatic shotguns with a detachable magazine are legal if the magazine can be removed without tools. Barrel length: Shotguns must have a barrel length of at least 18 inches. Overall length: The overall length of the shotgun must be at least 26 inches.
