Hi Anthony, this must be older stock, as it is no longer on the Winchester web site. It should be the same color case hardened finished receiver as the newer model, but I would verify with Winchester at 800-333-3288 or email customersupport@winchesterguns.com

The Winchester 1892 take-down in .44-40 Win was discontinued. These rifles are known for their ability to be taken apart and reassembled for cleaning and maintenance
