The Springfield Armory XD Model 3 utilizes the "OSP" (Optical Sight Pistol) footprint, which means it is designed to accept a wide range of red dot optics, primarily compatible with the Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and Docter sight footprints, allowing for customization with different mounting plates to fit various optics from brands like Vortex, Holosun, and Burris.
