If you shotgun does not have a fixed choke, it is not a good idea to shoot anything without a choke tube installed. If your shotgun does not take choke tubes, then you are ok. Also, you can shoot these in a rifled barrel, but rifled slugs are usually shot through smootbore barrels. Sabot type slugs are for rifled barrels. Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi and welcome. This load can be fired through a Rifles Barrel with no Choke without issue. This load works best overall with an open/no choke. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

they can be shot through a rifled barrel however accuracy will not be great and over time you may have leading issues in the lands and groves I recommend sabots for rifled barrels
